These squidgy crispy rice treats are made with just three ingredients.

Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter
- 4 cups (180g) miniature marshmallows
- 5 cups (134g) crispy rice cereal
Directions
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until melted and well combined. Cook 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
- Stir in crispy rice cereal until well coated.
- Press mixture evenly and firmly into a buttered 9×13-inch pan using a buttered spatula or waxed paper.
- Cut into 2-inch squares when cool.
Adjustments
- Note – Kellogg’s recipe includes 3 tbsp butter, 5.5 cups marshmallows & 6 cups cereal.
History
- 2025-12-16 – Made as listed and the 9×13 baking dish gives a pretty thin treat. Next time I may try using a smaller dish (7×11). Very tasty
