There are a lot of videos available to help in the vegetable garden. Here are some I’ve found beneficial.
Early on we will focus on two types of vegetables. Those that don’t require constant tending and those that require multiple years to establish. We won’t try them all right away but these are the first candidates
- Long growing varieties requiring infrequent tending
- Varieties that require years to establish
After things are more established and maybe we can find someone willing to tend or harvest during the week we want to expand the garden to include other varieties.
- Tomatoes
- Beans, Green
- Cucumbers
- Peas
- Zucchini
- Lettuce
- Radishes
Here are some general references for vegetable growing:
- Vegetable Garden Basics – Seems be be based out of England but has good information about vegetable gardening in general that would apply anywhere
- Midwest Vegetable Guide Commercial Growers – Not interested in commercial growing but I’m sure some of the information can be applied to the home garden
