History
- 2026-01-28 – Made a “whole” recipe except that the shrimp was 12 oz. Looks like the bags have gotten smaller. Next time I want to reduce butter to 3 tbsp and oil to 1.5 oz but keep the other ingredients at full amounts. That gives good spice and crispies on top. I’m also using the juice of 1 lemon which seems to be closer to 1.5 oz already so will continue that way.
- 2025-11-13 – Repeated the last makings method and it was very good again. Should have noted that I made a half recipe and that worked great as a dinner for two!
- 2024-12-19 – Made again with thin spaghetti and this time got the water boiling before doing anything else. I mixed the cheese and bread crumbs together more and kept parsley separate. Covered with about half the cheese & crumb mixture, covered that with parsley and then the remaining mixture. Into broiler for 3 minutes and it came out very well.
- 2024-1-22 – Made this with thin spaghetti. Need to remember how long it takes to get pasta water boiling because it wasn’t ready until about 5 minutes after shrimp was done on cooktop. The taste was good but I’d have liked the cheese & bread crumb mixture to coat the shrimp better. There were many “bread crumb – cheese balls” and while tasty, I’d like it to adhere to the shrimp more.
