It was an easy weekend. Getting some things ready for Eclipse weekend next week. The pedestal table I put into the living room was badly scratched which is probably why I got it for $10. I covered the scratches with a Minwax Stain Marker. Not sure it will look very good but it should certainly be getter than it was!
I also did some outside things like weeding the pole light garden, spraying the tree nursery with fungicide, fertilizing the back garden and pruning back the herb garden. I got some help with this from Jane, Jackie and Rita who collected some herbs to take home. I really whacked the basil and hope it comes back in a big way so I can make pesto for the fall.
The ladies joined us for dinner on Saturday evening. Grilled chicken and mushrooms, baked potatoes, parmesan roasted zucchini, homemade dinner rolls (bought from Sullivan Farmer’s market) and wine was a nice way to wrap up the day.
